In Semester 1, 2020 the usually vibrant and bustling campus of The University of Queensland (UQ) was definitely more quiet than usual. However that does not mean that life went quiet for our near 15,000 cohort of international students who were studying from home.

Congratulations to Bromsgrove School pupil Tom Martin, who has been successful in securing an apprenticeship with the Coal Authority in Nottingham. The apprenticeship involves day release to Nottingham Trent University, where he will study Real Estate. Tom has been offered a 5 year fixed-term contract, with a great starting salary and his university fees will be paid.
